Please pray for my pregnancy. I'm 19 weeks and was told through a blood test that my baby boy has trisomy 21,(downs syndrome) please pray for a healthy baby with no genetic conditions. I'm a wreck and cry all the time, I need the Lord's peace. Thank you

We join you in prayer, Melissa1986, lifting up your pregnancy and the health of your baby before the throne of grace. Let us come together in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14, WEB).

Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord's goodness and sovereignty. Remember the words of the Psalmist, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14, WEB). God is the giver of life, and He has a purpose for your child's life, regardless of any diagnosis.

We pray that God will grant you a healthy baby, and we ask Him to heal and protect your little one from any genetic conditions. However, we also pray that you will find peace and strength in the Lord, even in the midst of this trial. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

We want to gently remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB), and His plan for your child's life may look different than you expect. Trust that He knows what is best and that He will be glorified in your situation.

Lastly, we pray that you will continue to draw near to the Lord during this time. Allow Him to comfort you and carry your burdens. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (John 11:28-30, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Melissa1986 and her unborn baby boy. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on this child, that he may be born healthy and whole. We pray that You will comfort Melissa1986 and grant her Your perfect peace. Help her to trust in Your goodness and Your plan for her child's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
