We are with you in spirit, lifting up your family and this situation in prayer. Firstly, we note that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ or given any testimony of personal belief in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible tells us, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' (Acts 4:12 WEB). We will keep this in mind during our prayers.
Firstly, we would like to discuss that the term partner is used instead of husband. As believers, we should be pursuing relationships that align with biblical principles. This includes striving toward a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman in the sanctity of marriage. The context of the relationship between the requester and the children's father is unclear, so we will pray for repentance of any sinful relationship and godly spouses and marriages that honor God. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10: Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up.
We should also be aware that The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:4: 'Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled: for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.' So we pray that this absence was not due to any issues of immorality.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of need. We pray for the children's father, that You would draw him closer to You and grant him true repentance and forgiveness. We ask that You would reunite this family in a way that honors and glorifies Your holy name.
We pray for strength and wisdom for the one who submitted this request, that You would guide them in Your truth and grant them the discernment to lead their family according to Your will. We ask that You would surround their entire family with Your love, protection, and peace during this challenging time.
Lord, we also pray for the upcoming big day, that You would work in the hearts of each family member, softening them and turning them towards You. We ask that Your perfect will be done in their lives and that this situation would ultimately bring glory to Your name.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for salvation for this family. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a real and powerful way, drawing them into a personal relationship with You. We ask that You would grant them faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As mentioned in Romans 10:9: because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in Your goodness and Your sovereignty over this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
