We stand with you in prayer, dear one, lifting up your parents to the Lord. We pray that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In the midst of their hardships, we ask that God would be their strength and their portion, just as He promised to be for His people in Psalm 73:26. We pray that He would heal them physically, emotionally, and spiritually, according to their needs. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
We also lift up their marriage, asking God to draw them closer together in this time of trial. Let their love for each other reflect the love that Christ has for His church (Ephesians 5:25). Guide them to support and encourage one another, bearing each other's burdens in a way that fulfills the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).
Remember, dear one, that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). It is in His name that we pray, and it is in His name that your parents can find hope, healing, and happiness. If you or your parents haven't already, consider committing your lives to Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of these dear parents. Calm their souls, heal their bodies, and strengthen their bond. Let them find their happiness in You and in each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
