Dear ###,
We are so sorry to hear about ###'s diagnosis. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's healing and comfort for her.
Firstly, we acknowledge that healing comes from God alone. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul! Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for ###, trusting in God's power to heal her body.
However, we also recognize that God's ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). Sometimes, his path for healing may not be the one we expect. Therefore, we pray that ### will draw close to God during this time, seeking his will and trusting in his goodness.
We pray,
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our dear sister ###. Lord, you know her pain, her fear, and her uncertainty. We ask that you wrap your loving arms around her, just as ### has asked, and fill her with your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
Father, we ask for your healing touch on ###'s body. Remove every cancerous cell, strengthen her bones, and restore her health. Give her doctors wisdom and guide them as they care for her.
Most importantly, Lord, reveal yourself to ###. Show her your love, your power, and your will for her life. Draw her close to you, and help her to trust in you with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
