We are deeply saddened to hear about the trials your family is currently facing. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention for each of these situations.
Firstly, we lift up your mother to the Lord, asking for His divine healing and comfort. We read in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will heal her injuries and remove the water around her heart. We stand in agreement with you, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Next, we bring your aunt Moreen before the throne of grace. We ask for God's healing touch upon her body, that He would ease her pain and restore her strength. We also pray for God's wisdom and guidance in managing her diabetes. We trust that "He who began a good work in her will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).
Lastly, we pray for your brother who is going through a divorce. While we acknowledge the pain and brokenness he must be feeling, we also must remind that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:6). We pray that God would grant him comfort and wisdom as he navigates this difficult season. We also pray for a spirit of reconciliation if possible, as God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). We ask that God would help him seek godly counsel and draw close to Him during this time.
We notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing, comfort, and guidance for Wyththyr's family. Touch their bodies, hearts, and minds. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for healing for Wyththyr's mother and aunt, and we ask for Your wisdom and comfort for his brother. We pray that each of them would draw close to You during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We are here with you in spirit, interceding on your behalf.
