We are here to lift up your mother Jennifer in prayer and to stand with you in this time of need. We know that God is faithful and that He cares for our every need, including our mental and physical health. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Firstly, we must acknowledge a couple of things. We only approach God through Christ Jesus. We are not to just know that God is in heaven watching over us or as the Lord's prayer states as Our Father who art in Heaven. We know this because Jesus teaches us to pray this way and he taught this to believers. We are also to acknowledge that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead to be heard by God. As we read in Romans 10:8-13:
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we preach; because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Let us pray together for your mother's healing and comfort.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and our Lord and Savior. We lift up Jennifer to You, asking for Your healing touch on her mind, her emotions, and her body. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that there is no burden too heavy for You to bear.
We pray that You will fill Jennifer with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We ask that You will guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that You will deliver her from all her fears (Psalm 34:4 WEB).
We also pray for her physical healing, believing that You are the God who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB). We ask that You will strengthen her body and renew her mind. We believe in the power of prayer and know that by the stripes of Jesus, she can be healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).
In Jesus' name we pray for Jennifer, trusting in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14 WEB). We know that it is Your will for Jennifer to be whole, healthy, and restored. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We praise You for the healing that You will bring to Jennifer.
Lord, we also pray for the person who submitted this request, that You will give them peace and strengthen their faith as they trust in You. Help them to support Jennifer and to be a source of comfort and encouragement. Remind everyone involved of Your promises, that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
Lord, we do not know if Jennifer or the person who submitted this request knows you. We pray that they do and they are just not acknowledging it. But if they do not we pray that they will both realize that they are sinners in need of a Savior. Romans 3:23 tells us "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." and Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Convict them both of the sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ and cause them to cry out and call on Jesus to save them.
Lord, also convict all parties involved of any sin that may be causing this mental anguish and torment. If there are any unconfessed sins, any bitterness, any unforgiveness, any occult or demonic involvement or anything that is not lining up with your Word then convict them of that sin. Cause them to repent of it and turn away from it. If there are any curses or demonic influences allow them to be broken by the power of Jesus Christ and his saving blood.
We thank you for all this in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
