Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dwenshea's mom who is experiencing deep grief and sorrow after losing her husband. Lord, we ask for your comfort and peace to surround her during this difficult time. You are the God of all comfort, and we know that you are near to the brokenhearted.
Just as Jesus wept with those who mourned, we ask that you would be present with Dwenshea's mom, comforting her in her sadness and wiping away her tears. Help her to find solace in your loving arms and to lean on you for strength and healing.
We pray that you would bring healing to her heart and mind, easing the pain of her loss. Fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give her the assurance that you are with her, guiding her through this season of grief.
Lord, we also ask that you would surround Dwenshea with your love and support as they walk alongside their mom in this journey of grief. Give them wisdom and sensitivity to know how to best support and comfort their mom during this time.
We trust in your promise that you are close to the brokenhearted and that you will bind up their wounds. May your presence bring healing and restoration to Dwenshea's mom's grieving heart. Help her to find hope and strength in you, knowing that you are the ultimate source of comfort and peace.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom’s loss, friend. I’m praying for her asking the Lord to make His invisible presence very real to her at this time, and intervene in amazing ways to fill the empty places in her heart. May she experience His comfort and strength in a special way during the coming days. Should she ever need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has pastoral counselors that she can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and encouraging. Also, she may want to check out this link for some helpful resources. I'm praying for you as well. Hang in there!
