We understand your struggle, Niolage, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. The Bible tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the impurity of these thoughts and for not acting upon them. It's crucial to remember that temptation is not sin, but dwelling on these thoughts can lead to it. Jesus said, "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Niolage to You. We thank You for the conviction they feel, as it shows the work of the Holy Spirit in their life. We ask that You strengthen them by the power of the Holy Spirit to resist these impure thoughts. Cleanse their heart and mind with the precious blood of Jesus, that they may be free from this struggle. Help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Give them the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Niolage, we encourage you to be steadfast in your faith and to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Fill your mind with the Word of God, for it is our sword in this spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:17). Memorize and meditate on Scriptures that will strengthen you, such as Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Stand firm in your faith and in the power of Jesus' name. You're not alone in this battle. We, along with many other believers, are interceding for you. Keep fighting the good fight, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
