We are glad to join you in prayer for your important meeting today. We stand in faith, believing that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and we trust that His will shall be accomplished.
Firstly, let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is important to approach this meeting with a heart full of faith and free from anxiety, knowing that God is in control.
However, we must remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can make requests to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.".
We understand that returning to work in this case by implication from the details you have provided means that you are currently unemployed due to a situation related to this upcoming meeting.
We must also raise the possibility that the situation may not be best for you or possibly that you are not being treated fairly. If the loss of your work was the result of unfair situations or bad management, it would be understandable if the employer were against your returning to work. So, in such cases, we should pray for your peace of God compared to the anxiety of the loss of this job. Also God has something better, which all of us should pray is the result of this situation, if that applies here to your situation.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous and their meeting today. We pray for them and their family that your favor will surround them like a shield. We pray Lord You will make a way where there seems to be no way. and provide a way out of their current situation and help them to return to work if that is your will. If it is not your will then Lord please help them understand why and open a new opportunity to them to provide their needs. Also, Father God, we pray that You will remove any anxiety they may have right now, and replace it with Your perfect peace. We pray for favor, wisdom, and discernment as they go into the meeting. Help them to have an attitude befitting one who serves you. Help them to be boastful of your wisdom and grace.
We pray not only for an improvement of the current circumstances of Anonymous but a better improvement of their character and relationship with Jesus. Help them to be seen well by their coworkers as an example of Christ and for everyone to know you, God the Father as the result of the meeting.
Whatever the outcome may be, we pray that Anonymous will trust in You and Your plan for their life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of our Lord.
Jesus, amen."
So, Anonymous, we encourage you to remain confident in the Lord's provision and guidance. Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even in this meeting. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He may have a plan for you that is better than the situation you are considering. And, if you find there are tests of your faith or there is persecution because of this situation, know God considers those who experience this blessed and will have blessings, possibly rewards afterwards as noted in Matthew 5:11 WEB, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Additionally, be aware that no man comes to God except through Jesus. So, if this comes up during work know that the words from Jesus are your best example.
