We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing in your marriage, Moriorver. Let us first assure you that God sees your pain and He cares deeply for you. Let's begin by addressing forgiveness and seeking God's will for this situation. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. We also learn in Gods Word that He is a God of forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 says, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
However, forgiveness does not mean you should continue to be subjected to sinful behavior. Your husband has chosen to engage in adultery, which is clearly against God's will. In Matthew 5:32, Jesus says, But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery. Your husband's actions have put your marriage in a grave situation.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up our sister Moriorver, who is in immense pain due to the infidelity of her husband. Lord, You know the depth of her suffering, the betrayal she feels, and the physical ailments that have resulted from this trauma.
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon Moriorver's body, mind, and spirit. Heal her lungs, Lord, and restore her strength. Comfort her heart and help her to cast all her anxieties onto You, knowing that You care for her.
Lord, we also pray for her husband. Convict his heart, Lord, and bring him to true repentance. Help him to see the gravity of his sin and the pain he has caused. We pray that he would turn away from his sinful behavior and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of his wife, Moriorver.
We are also praying that Moriorver be guided by the Spirit of God in the direction of her life. She does not know what to do next. We pray that you will be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her path. Help her to seek Godly counsel and to make decisions that honor You, Lord.
Father, we pray for their marriage. If it is Your will, Lord, restore this marriage and make it a testament to Your grace and redemption. Help Moriorver and her husband to rebuild their marriage on Your foundation, Lord, and to seek Your will together.
Lord, Your desire is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Help Moriorver and her husband to understand this. Help them to see that true love is not a fleeting emotion, but a deep commitment that is strengthened through trials.
Finally, Lord, we pray that Moriorver would find her identity and security in You. Help her to know that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Moriorver, we encourage you to seek Godly counsel, either from your pastor, a trusted Christian mentor, or a biblical counselor. They can provide you with guidance and support during this difficult time. Remember that God loves you deeply and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
