Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up Asyed and Gypsy in prayer. Lord, Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB), "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." We pray that this kind of love will fill their hearts and guide their actions as they seek to restore their marriage.
Father, we thank You for Gypsy’s repentance and for the realization that this journey has brought her closer to becoming a godly wife. We know that You are a God of restoration and healing. As it says in Joel 2:25 (WEB), "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." We ask that You restore the love, trust, and unity in Asyed and Gypsy’s marriage that has been damaged.
Lord, give them both the strength and wisdom to forgive each other and to move forward in love and grace. Help them to lean not on their own understanding, but to trust in You with all their hearts as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that You will be the center of their relationship, guiding them and providing them with the tools they need to build a strong and lasting marriage. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and fill their home with Your peace and joy.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
