Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage to Your loving care. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in the relationship between this husband and wife. We pray that You soften the husband's heart and open the lines of communication between them. Help him to see that drinking will not solve their issues and guide him to seek healthier ways to address their problems.
Lord, we know that past wounds can deeply affect our present relationships. We ask for healing for the husband from the pain of his father's abandonment. Help him to release any grudges and to understand that true strength comes from humility and love.
Father, we thank You for his hard work and provision for his family. We ask that You also fill him with emotional warmth and the ability to express love and care for his wife. Strengthen their bond and renew their love for each other.
We stand on Your Word in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which reminds us that love is patient, kind, and keeps no record of wrongs. May this couple experience this kind of love in their marriage. We also hold onto the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we leave this marriage in Your hands, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. We pray for strength, patience, and unwavering faith for this wife as she continues to seek Your guidance.
