We understand your concern for your marriage, your sister's marriage, and your desire to get married. Let us pray and seek God's will together for your situation.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's word. In Proverbs 18:22 (WEB) it says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We believe that God has a plan for your life, and He knows the best spouse for you and your sister. Trust that His timing is perfect.
However, we want to remind you that God's desire is for us to seek Him first, and then His righteousness, and all other things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Make sure that your pursuit for marriage is not overshadowing your pursuit for a deeper relationship with God.
Let's also address the concern about the delay in marriage proposals. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust that if it's taking longer than you expected, God has a purpose in that. Use this time to prepare yourself spiritually, emotionally, and physically for the responsibility of marriage.
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother ### and his sister. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their marriages and their desire to get married. We pray that You will lead them to godly spouses, ones that will help them grow in their faith and live according to Your will.
