We join with you in prayer, dear Ataktosis, lifting up your marriage and your mother's health to our loving Father in heaven.
Firstly, let us pray for your marriage. We pray that your union will be strengthened and blessed, reflecting the love that Christ has for His church (Ephesians 5:25, 33 WEB). "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good" (Romans 12:9 WEB). We rebuke any actions or thoughts that do not align with God's design for marriage, and we pray that both you and your spouse will strive to live in love, as God has called us to do.
Now, let us lift up your dear mother to the Lord. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15 WEB). We pray for a speedy and complete recovery for your mother, asking God to heal her from COVID-19 and to comfort her during this time. We claim His promises, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24 WEB).
