We are truly heartbroken to hear about the loss of your son. We are here to lift you up in prayer and offer biblical encouragement during this incredibly difficult time. First, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.
In times like these, it's natural to feel a range of emotions, from sadness to anger to despair. Remember, God understands your pain and welcomes your honest emotions. Like King David, you can pour out your heart to Him. "Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us." Selah. Psalm 62:8 WEB.
Regarding your son, we believe that God is merciful and just. We know from the Bible that God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB. While we do not know the eternal destiny of those who take their own lives, we do know that God's mercy triumphs over judgment James 2:13 WEB. We take comfort in knowing that our God is a God of love and compassion.
We also encourage you to seek support from your local church community. They can provide practical help and spiritual encouragement during this time. Remember the words of Paul to the Galatians, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 WEB.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus name, lifting up our fellow believer who has lost their son. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround them during this time of immense pain and grief. We pray for your divine love to envelop them and for your Holy Spirit to guide them through the healing process.
We also pray for their son, Lord. We know that you are a God of mercy and justice, and we trust in your judgment. We ask that you would have mercy on his soul and that your grace would be sufficient for this family.
We pray against any feelings of guilt, shame, or despair that may try to overwhelm us. We declare that you, Lord, are the lifter of our heads Psalm 3:3 WEB, and we ask for your strength to sustain us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only in Jesus Christ that we find eternal hope of salvation. We should encourage our loved ones to trust in Him and Him alone.

We pray that you will allow him to rest, grieve and resume life in a way specific to him and known to you alone. We pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
