Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### who is battling with alcoholism. Lord, we thank you for the ### years of sobriety that you granted him, and we acknowledge that it is only by your grace that he was able to overcome this struggle. We pray that you would once again intervene in his life and deliver him from the grip of alcohol.
Lord, we ask that you would protect ### while he is out on the streets. Keep him safe from harm and surround him with your angels. We pray for his physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Restore him, Lord, and bring him back home to his loved ones.
We know, Lord, that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We believe in your power to transform lives and set the captives free. We ask that you would break the chains of addiction that bind ### and release him into a life of freedom and wholeness.
We also pray for ###, his wife, who is undoubtedly burdened by this situation. Strengthen her, Lord, and grant her the wisdom, patience, and love to support ### through this difficult time. Surround her with your peace and comfort, reminding her that you are with her every step of the way.
Lord, we lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you hear our cries and that you are faithful to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. May your will be done in ###'s life, and may he experience the fullness of your redemption and restoration.
