Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Scott who is struggling with the deepest depression. Lord, we ask that You shine Your light into his darkness and guide him out of this despair. Your Word says in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that Scott feels Your presence and comfort, knowing that You are near to him in his brokenness.
Father, grant wisdom and strength to his wife, Pyles, as she seeks to support and help him. Surround them both with Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7. May Scott find hope and healing in You, and may Your Holy Spirit guide him to the resources and support he needs.
We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, Lord. Thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Please pray for Scott. He went several days without drinking and started last night. Hopefully he'll stop before it gets to bad(mean and doesn't remember). With the Lord's help he can beat it .
