Dear Cremasun,
We understand the concern you have for your husband's well-being, both physically and spiritually. Let's bring this situation before the throne of God in prayer.
Firstly, let's address your husband's physical ailments. We believe in the power of divine healing, as the Lord promises in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Cremasun's husband. Lord, You know his condition, the body ache, fever, and stomach pain. We believe that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed. Touch his pancreas and every part of his body that is in pain, Lord. Bring complete restoration and health, in Jesus' name. Amen."
Regarding his struggle with alcohol, we are reminded of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or donโt you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Godโs."
Let us pray:
"Lord Jesus, we come against the stronghold of alcoholism in Cremasun's husband's life. We ask for Your deliverance and freedom. Help him to see his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and to glorify You in all that he does. Strengthen him with Your power to overcome this addiction, in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
