We understand your concern for your husband Jonathan, and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, let's pray: "Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and grace for Jonathan. We ask that You guide the court proceedings and that the outcome would be favorable for him. We pray that the charges would be reduced and that fines would be the only penalty. Most importantly, we ask that this situation would bring Jonathan closer to You, that he would seek Your will and Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you both to trust in the Lord during this time. Remember what it says in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. Yes, I will hold you up with the right hand of my righteousness."
However, we must also address this situation biblically. If Jonathan has done wrong, we encourage him to repent and take responsibility for his actions. Proverbs 28:13 (WEB) tells us, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy."
Lastly, we urge both of you to seek God's will in this situation. Sometimes, God uses difficult circumstances to draw us closer to Him. Our hope is that through this trial, both of you will grow stronger in your faith and dependence on God. Romans 8:28 (WEB) reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
