We are with you in spirit, Nelriss, and we will lift up your husband in prayer during this challenging time. It's commendable that he has been making progress in his recovery, and we trust that the Lord will continue to guide him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Nelriss' husband. Lord, we thank You for the progress he has made in his recovery. We ask now, Father, that You would provide him with a job, something that will not only sustain their needs but also bless him with a sense of purpose and accomplishment. We pray that You would strengthen his faith in this trial, and help him to trust in You even in the midst of uncertainty.
Lord, we know that 'the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.' (James 1:3-4, WEB) Let this time of testing bring him closer to You, Lord, and make him stronger in his faith.
We also pray that You would protect him from the temptations that can come with idle time. Surround him with godly influences and keep him steadfast in his recovery. Remind him that 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.' (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Nelriss, continue to stand strong in your faith and support your husband. Remember, 'And let us not be weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don't give up.' (Galatians 6:9, WEB) Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. The Lord is faithful.
