Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request on behalf of Sashkesh. We lift up her husband who is battling an addiction to alcohol abuse. Lord, we ask that you intervene in his life and bring about a transformation. We pray that you would touch his heart and lead him to seek rehabilitation and the help he needs to overcome this addiction. Your Word says in Psalm 107:20, "He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave." We believe in the power of your healing and deliverance, Lord.
We also pray for Sashkesh's family who has recently lost their father. We ask for your comfort and strength to surround them during this difficult time. May they find solace in your presence and experience your peace that surpasses all understanding. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We trust that you will be their refuge and source of strength.
Lord, we lift up Sashkesh's family and in-laws as well. It is heartbreaking to witness a loved one hurting themselves. We pray for your divine intervention in their lives, that they may find hope, healing, and restoration. Help them to lean on you and find comfort in your unfailing love. Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Lastly, we pray for Sashkesh's 8-month-old baby. We ask for your protection and guidance over her life. May she grow in health, strength, and wisdom. Surround her with your love and shield her from any harm or danger. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
Thank you, Father, for your abundant blessings in our lives. We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will answer these prayers according to your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you and your family, Sashkesh. We will continue to pray for you.
