We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing in your marriage, Slethelirin, and we stand with you in prayer. Firstly, let us address the grave sin that has entered your marriage. The Bible is clear that adultery is a severe violation of the marital covenant. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, it says, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Therefore, we rebuke this sin and pray fervently for your husband's heart to turn away from his sinful path. Hebrews 10:26-27 WEB, says for if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.
We join you in praying for reconciliation and restoration in your marriage, believing that all things are possible with God. In Matthew 19:6 WEB, it says, So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. We pray for your husband's heart to be softened and for him to repent and turn from his sin, seeking God's path of righteousness. In 2 Peter 3:19, WEB, it says, the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
In this season of waiting and trial, we pray for your safety, strength and hope. In Psalm 55:22 WEB, it says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." We pray for God's supernatural provision and protection over you during this difficult time, especially as you face physical challenges. In 1 John 4:4 WEB, it says, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
Remember in James 4:8 WEB, it says, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. It is so important to continue seeking God and stand on his Word during these church discipline and believing in Jesus Christ. We also take comfort in knowing that you have acknowledged the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." In 2 John 1:9 WEB, it says, Whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son. In Acts 4:12 we see WEB: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Lastly, we pray for peace and stability for you as Matthew 11:28-29 WEB, says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. It is time for you to let him carry the load.
Father, in Jesus' name we pray over Slethelirin, for her marriage to be restored and for her husband to repent and seek Your face. We ask for safety, provision, and hope to be supernaturally sustained in this waiting season, as 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB, says, if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land, Amen.
