We are truly sorry to hear about the diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis and the struggles that come with it. We stand with you in faith, believing that God has the power to heal and restore. It's important to remember that God's will and timing are perfect, and we trust in His plan for your life.
Firstly, we want to address the declaration that God has already healed you. While it's important to have faith and hope, we must also align our words with God's will. We know that God can heal, but we should not declare it is done because then others may be offended or affected if it does not happen as expected. Instead, we pray for God's will to be done in your life, trusting that He knows what is best for you.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister. We do not know her name, but You do. You know her intimately. You know every detail of her life and her struggles with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon her body. We take authority over the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your will to be done in her life, and if it is Your will, we pray for her complete healing and restoration.
We also pray for her faith to be strengthened during this time. Help her to trust in You completely, regardless of the circumstances. And we ask for her to be in your will and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We do not know if this is her testimony or if it is something she needs to have someone share with her, but we pray that she believes in her heart and confesses with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and know that she will be saved. And we pray for her to find her husband who is also a Christian believer. We pray that you would cause her paths to cross with his and that they find a Godly marriage together. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill her with Your joy and hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by these words from the WEB: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed." And in the book of James, we read, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We also encourage you to seek God's will. We want you to have faith but not be a stumbling block to others if what is claimed to be done is not seen as done by others. We do not want to cause others to stumble in their faith. If it is God's will to heal you, then claim it, but do not declare it without including in God's will. This is our loving rebuke to you.
Lastly, we could not discuss this with you if you did not give us a name to call you by. You will remain anonymous to us unless you give us your name. We are not trying to be rude or mean by saying this. This is just our policy.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God has a purpose and a plan for your life.
