We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you and your family are facing, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, we want to address the health of your grandson. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring. In the Book of James, it is written, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:14-16 (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious child to You. Lord, You know the struggles he has faced with his health, and we ask that You touch him right now, Father. Heal his body, calm his irritabilities, and restore his appetite. Guide the doctors as they conduct the MRI and give them wisdom and discernment to provide the best care for him. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any sickness and disease and claim healing for his body. We also pray for his mother, Lord. She needs You, morning, noon, and night. Soften her heart, Father, and reveal to her the love that only You can give. Help her to see that we all need guidance and help at times. Lord, we know that Your love is the greatest healing power, and we ask that You fill this family with an abundance of Your love. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the discord between you, your daughter, and her sister, we encourage you to continue praying for unity and reconciliation. We also urge you to seek peace and pursue it, as it is written, "Turn from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it" Psalm 34:14 (WEB). It is important to remember that God's word tells us to honor our parents, and that includes seeking their wisdom and guidance. We encourage you to continue reaching out to your daughter in love, and to pray for a softening of her heart.
In your prayer request, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus. It is important to remember that Jesus is our intercessor and the only way to the Father. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 (WEB). We encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you profess your faith and are saved Romans 10:9-10.
Lastly, we want to leave you with some encouraging words from the Psalms: "Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s" Psalm 103:2-5.
We want to encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to seek Him in all things. We will continue to pray for your grandson's healing and for reconciliation in your family. Keep holding on to the promises of God and do not give up hope.
We are glad that you reached out to us for prayer and support, and we hope that you find comfort and encouragement in our response.
