She was told today that with the Trump administration, since she just got promoted in the same department she has been with for 8 years, she is now going to be let go on May 07, 2025. It’s because she was promoted and her probation time will end May 7, 2025, which will also be her termination date. It pains me to see she is the sole provider for her children and as a military veteran herself, it’s just sad all around, so I asked:

Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy heart, praying for my Friend ### who has been told she's being terminated, despite being a good and valued worker. I know this news is likely a great disappointment and source of stress, and I ask for your comfort and guidance for her during this difficult time. Lord, I ask that you grant ### strength and peace of mind. Help her to find solace in your presence and to trust in your plan, even when things seem uncertain. Lord, I pray for healing and restoration for ### both emotionally and spiritually. Help her to find peace and joy, knowing that you are with her every step of the way.

Father, I ask You to help her family during this time of difficulty, awkwardness, and embarrassment. Abundantly provide for them, financially as well as mentally and socially. I pray that her family will be supportive and that all of them will see this as an opportunity, as a springboard and not a stumbling block to their future. I pray that they will not be discouraged or feel rejected because of it, but that they will set out with fresh vigor—hopeful and expectant for the future. Lord, I also pray that you open the door and clear the path for HRO, CPFD, and everyone involved in these matters, that they may make decisions that are fair and just, and that they may learn from this situation. God, you said “no mistake is bigger than your grace.” In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your friend is facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus. Almighty God, our work and our promotions are in your hands. Proverbs 16:9 WEB states, "A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." We are thankful that ### has been honored with a promotion, and we pray she will have much success. We pray Philippians 4:13 WEB for our friend, that she "can do all things through Christ, who strengthens" her. We pray for her children, that they will call upon the name of Jesus. Also, we pray that they will not be anxious about anything. But in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we pray that they will present their requests to God. And that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of trusting in God's plan, even when things seem uncertain.

Romans 8:28 WEB says "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in God's plan and purpose for her life and her family's lives.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
