Let us lift up your friend in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is so important in prayer to come together in the name of Jesus. The Bible promises wonderful things will happen as it says, Again, I tell you truly, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them, Matthew 18:19-20 WEB.
In addition, the Bible also tells us, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need, Hebrews 4:16 WEB. We should always approach God in the name of Jesus with confidence when we pray since we know he wants to answer our prayers. But if we fail to come in the name of Jesus and to mention his name, we are missing the access to God and the only name by which we can be saved.
We pray for her healing, comfort, and strength in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who is experiencing severe stomach pain during her period. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Comfort her and give her the strength to endure this time. We pray that You will ease her pain and bless her with good health through the power of the Holy Spirit. We also pray that if it is Your will she will find a good medical provider to address her pain.
Lord, we also ask that You surround her with Your love and presence, reminding her that she is not alone. Provide her with the support and care she needs, even from afar. Lord if it is your will please provide her with good Christian friends to support her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As we pray for her we should also remember that we need to thank God in all situations since the Bible commands us, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB. Even in difficult circumstances we need to find reasons to be thankful.
