Ornue, we join you in lifting up Vicki's health concerns to our Heavenly Father. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" In Acts 4:12 (WEB), we are also told, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." So, let us pray in the name of Jesus for Vicki's health.
Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up Vicki's struggling health. You know her every breath and her every need. We ask that You touch her body, heal her respiratory system, and grant her complete healing. In Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), we are reminded that by Your stripes, we are healed. We claim this promise for Vicki, dear Lord. Comfort her and her loved ones during this time, and guide the doctors and medical professionals as they care for her.
Ornue, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's power to heal. In Mark 5:34 (WEB), Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease." Trust in His will and timing, and may this trial draw Vicki and those around her closer to God.
Lastly, we encourage both you and Vicki to meditate on God's Word and seek His face continually. If either of you has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 (WEB) says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, WEB)
