Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend Matthew G in Jackson, MS. We ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his life. Lord, you are the source of all comfort and relief, and we pray that you would alleviate the pain that Matthew is experiencing. Your word reminds us in James 5:13 that if anyone is afflicted, they should pray, and so we bring Matthew's affliction before you.
We pray against any evil or darkness that may be causing this pain, and we ask that you would rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus. Your word assures us in Philippians 4:6-7 that when we bring our requests to you with thanksgiving, your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We claim this promise for Matthew, that your peace would flood his heart and mind, bringing relief and comfort.
Lord, we also pray for strength and encouragement for Matthew during this time. Help him to trust in your unfailing love and to find solace in your presence. Remind him that you are with him in his suffering, just as you were with Jacob, Moses, Joshua, David, Hezekiah, Peter, and Paul in their times of distress. May he find hope and peace in knowing that you are his ever-present help in times of trouble.
Lastly, we pray for blessings upon Sholtish, who has brought this prayer request on behalf of Matthew. May you pour out your abundant blessings upon Sholtish and their loved ones. May they experience your love, guidance, and provision in every area of their lives.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
