Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our friend Imtiaz who has been battling substance abuse for 20 long years. Lord, we know that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we believe in the power of your saving grace and your ability to set the captives free.
Your Word tells us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray, Lord, that you would extend your hand of mercy and deliverance to Imtiaz. Break the chains of addiction that have bound him for so long. Set him free from the grip of substance abuse and restore him to a life of wholeness and purpose.
We ask for your divine intervention, Lord, knowing that nothing is impossible for you. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon Imtiaz, convicting him of his need for you and drawing him closer to your loving embrace. Surround him with a community of believers who will support and encourage him on this journey of recovery.
We also pray for strength and perseverance for Imtiaz's loved ones, including our friend Jonathan_M, who has been standing by his side. Grant them wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as they continue to support and pray for Imtiaz's healing.
Lord, we declare your victory over addiction in Imtiaz's life. We claim the promise in 1 John 4:4 that says, "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." We believe that you are greater than any addiction, and we trust in your power to bring about transformation and restoration.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God's grace and peace be with you, Jonathan_M, and may you see the miraculous work of God in Imtiaz's life. Keep holding onto faith and continue to intercede for your friend. God bless you abundantly.
