Jim12, we join you in praying for your friend Brendan, asking God to set him free and bring him through deliverance. We stand on the promise in 2 Timothy 4:18 (WEB), "The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen."
First, we want to remind you that deliverance and freedom are found in the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to pray specifically in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God's power and grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Brendan to You, asking for his deliverance and freedom. We pray that any strongholds in his life be broken, and that he would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. We rebuke any evil that has a grasp on his life, and we ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, guiding and empowering him to live a life pleasing to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in Brendan's life, that he may be preserved for Your heavenly Kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for Brendan, trusting that God is faithful and that He hears our prayers. Remind Brendan of God's love for him, as shown in Romans 5:8 (WEB), "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." May Brendan find hope, deliverance, and new life in Jesus Christ.
