We understand your financial struggles, and we want you to know that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your finances. Firstly, we commend you for your efforts in self-employment and want to encourage you with the words of 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.'" Your diligence is pleasing to God.
However, we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in government support or any other human means. As it is written in Psalm 121:1-2, "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
Let's pray together for your financial situation:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is facing financial difficulties. Lord, You know the struggle they are going through, and You know their needs even before they ask. We pray that You will provide for them abundantly, according to Your riches in glory. Open up new opportunities for them to earn more and use their talents to glorify Your name. Help them to be good stewards of their finances and to trust in You completely.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that they will come to know You more deeply during this time. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and Your joy that fills their hearts. Help them to remember that You are always with them, even in the toughest times.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life. Remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you, and He wants to bless you abundantly. Keep trusting in Him, and don't be anxious about anything. As Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, make sure to put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. As Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
