Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### and his fiancee who is serving as a major in the Air Force in Afghanistan. Lord, we ask for your divine protection and safety over him and all the military personnel serving in dangerous areas.
Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over ###'s fiancee and every soldier, asking that you surround them with your heavenly protection.
Father, we pray for their physical safety, that you would shield them from harm and danger. Guide their steps, Lord, and grant them wisdom and discernment in every decision they make. Strengthen their hearts and minds, giving them courage and peace in the midst of challenging circumstances.
We also lift up their families, who eagerly await their safe return. Comfort them, Lord, and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. May they find solace in knowing that their loved ones are in your hands.
Lord, we ask that you provide strength and resilience to ###'s fiancee, both physically and emotionally. Surround him with your love and grace, reminding him of your presence even in the darkest moments. Grant him hope and encouragement, knowing that he is not alone.
Finally, we pray for a swift and safe return for all military personnel serving overseas. May they be reunited with their families and loved ones, experiencing the joy of coming home. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, for His sake and glory.
