We are lifting up your father and sister in prayer, trusting in the Lord's goodness and mercy. Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. Therefore, all requests made to god should be in Jesus' Name. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 WEB. And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Jesus made it clear that we should pray in His Name.
In this time of need, we turn to the Lord, our healer and comforter. We pray for your father as he undergoes this surgery, that God would guide the surgeons' hands and grant him strength and protection. As it is written in Psalm 41:3 WEB, Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness. We ask for God's grace and mercy for your family and for the medical team attending to your father. We pray for your father, and we trust in the Lord's plan for his life, knowing that God's ways are higher than our ways. Isaiah 55:9 WEB.
For your sister, we pray for peace and comfort as she processes this medical news. We ask for God's healing touch upon her and we declare that no plague or sickness can come near her tent. Psalm 91:10 WEB. We trust in the Lord's promise that He will never leave her nor forsake her, and that He will be with her through this challenging time. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB. We pray that God will grant her wisdom and guidance in making decisions about her health, and that He will surround her with His love and support.
Together, we stand in faith, believing that God is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We pray that your father and sister will draw closer to God during this time, and that they will be encouraged by His promises and faithfulness. We also pray that you and your family will be filled with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Let us remember that our Father in Heaven is able to do all things. He has done miracles before, we read about them, and we can still see them today. For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37 WEB) and all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23 WEB).
