You Please pray for my family, my husband armando of 20 plus years, left us 4 mo ago and he says he not in love with me, he never talks to me, he said he no longer have faith in God, he had kids for new years eve he left them with his family members to go have some drinks with friends, so he didn't even spend it with our kids. it was our 24th year together anniversary and our daughter 23 anniversary on Jan 1 and nothing..... please God please bring him home... restore my husband, my family my marriage........ When my sister was in ICU and the doctors didn't hold any hope for her recovery, my first thought was: The first report is not the last report. This goes along with Psalm 112:7 (and I encourage you to make it personal) I will not be afraid of evil tidings (any sort of bad news) my heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
Yeshua tells us over and over Fear not! fear not! fear not! Be of GOOD cheer. Now why does he say to fear not? Instead tells us to be of good cheer? Why? Because he knew we would be going through tribulations, but instead of being fearful, we are to be courageous, He has already overcome them.
Your focus is on what you are seeing physically. Scripture tells us that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. Which means his actions are being influenced by the demonic realm, which means he is not in his 'right mind'. If he understood the complete work of the cross and all that it has gained for him, if he had a glimpse of the love of God, he would not be doing what he is doing. Granted, he is backslid, but God is merciful, glory to God.
It seem that your husband does not understand the new birth and what it means to walk as a new creation. Do you understand the signficance of renewing the mind? Scripture says, be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The mind is the seat of the soul, the soul is where the will, mind and emotions sit. It is the place that Satan makes his stronghold. If he can get the mind, he can wreck all kinds of havoc, but here is the truth, Satan has no right to any part of us except what we give away to him, knowingly or unknowingly.
In 2 Peter 1:3 says: According as His divine power has (it's been done) given us (we already have it) every thing (all things) we need for life and godliness through the KNOWLEDGE of Him who has called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given us exceeding great and precious promises that by these we might be made partakers of His divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
You have been made righteous by the blood of the Lamb. It is by the blood of the Lamb and YOUR testimony that oversomes the devil. What is your testimony? What words are you declaring concerning your husband and your marriage? Scripture says that death and life are in the power of the tongue and the words that come ouf of their mouth, there is fruit that will be born of those words. Think of it this way...God said LIGHT Be and light was and continues forth to this day. The word that God speaks does not come back void but accomplishes all that He sent (spoke) it out to do. Scripture says that the tongue is an unruly member, who can tame it. They put bridles in horses mouths, but who can tame the tongue?
I encourage you Kandi, to sit down and ask Holy Spirit about your marriage. Ask Him to show you areas that you missed it (listen we all miss it, some more than others, but that is ok, because that's how we learn not to repeat it). Ask Him to change you into the wife that your husband needs. I did that years ago when my own marriage was struggling. You allow Holy Spirit to change you Kandi. If He shows you areas of your life that need to be repented of, do it and then move on with the Lord. Don't allow those things to keep you stuck in the past. Your life is present, NOW. Yesterday has past, can't change it, don't regret it. Learn from it.
I encourage you to forgive your husband. Instead of saying all he does wrong, speak words of life, speak the word of God over him. Ask HOly Spirit to give you scriptures you can study and meditate and begin to declare about your husband.
Father, thank you for another opportunity to trust You.. How it blesses your heart when Your child comes to you in thanksgiving and praise, rejoicing over all the goodness of your love for them. Praising, singing, dancing rejoicing in You. Yeshua already overcame this situation. It was already placed on the cross and the outcome stood in line with your word. For a marriage covenant entered into is a serious vow, not one to let go lightly.
Father, we invite your presence and godly wisdom into this situation. I ask you give Kandi the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of who she is in Christ, that her eyes be flooded with light that she might know what is the hope of His calling for her life. Father, there is nothing we can do to change Armando's understanding of what a marriage covenant means, but you sure can by stepping in and giving him a taste of your incredible love and mercy and the value that you have placed on a marriage covenant. It seems Father he has filed for divorce on Dec 7, yet Lord we know that paperwork can get lost or misplaced, but most important, a heart can be changed, and this is what we are believing for for both Kani and Armando. A change of heart, a change of view, a change of perspective of what it means to be surrendered to You, Father. I ask a blessing of restoration and redemption for this marriage, for divorce is never your will, I fully believe that. Change hearts, and heal this marriage. Undergird this marriage with the foundation that is based on Yeshua as the Chief cornerstone and may a life of repentance mark their legacy for their children. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, don't lean to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
