We lift up your family before the throne of grace, dear one. We understand that you're having a rough day and we stand with you in prayer, believing for God's grace and peace to fill your household. We are reminded of the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also want to address your request for a job for you and your boyfriend. While we pray for God's provision, we want to encourage you both to seek God's will in your lives and relationship. We believe that God calls us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14). As you both seek employment, also seek God's direction in your relationship, ensuring that it aligns with biblical principles. Remember, the goal of a courting relationship is to find a godly spouse.
We notice that you ended your prayer with "Thank you Jesus. Amen." This acknowledgment of Jesus is crucial, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We commend you for acknowledging His name and we pray that you both continue to grow in your personal relationships with Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we lift up Boybaugh's family to You. We ask for Your grace and peace to fill their household. Comfort them in their struggles and help them to cast all their anxieties on You. We also pray for Your provision in Boybaugh and her boyfriend's job search. Guide them and open doors for them according to Your will. We ask that You help them to grow in their relationship with You and with each other, in a manner that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, dear one. His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your faith in Him and He will see you through.
