Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts heavy with concern and burdened with the trials that Kithcas and the family are facing. We lift up Kithcas' mother, who is suffering from dementia. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her mind and body. Grant her peace and comfort in the midst of her confusion. We are reminded of Your Word in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." May this promise bring solace and strength to the family.
Father, we also pray for patience for Kithcas and the entire family as they care for their beloved mother. Help them to show love, compassion, and understanding in every interaction. Your Word in Colossians 3:12-13 encourages us to "clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." May this scripture guide their actions and hearts.
Lord, we lift up the anxiety, depression, and stress that Kithcas and the family are experiencing. We ask that You replace their worries with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
We trust in Your unfailing love and grace, knowing that You are the Great Physician and Comforter. Please surround Kithcas and the family with Your presence, and guide them through these challenging times. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
