Please pray for my ex-boyfriend to resist temptation and for his blessings.

Please pray with me for my ex-boyfriend. God, please wash my ex-boyfriend, Angel with the blood of Jesus. Please help Angel resist all the temptations that the enemy throws at him. Please keep Angel away from fornication, masturbation, the Jezebel spirit, and keep him away from making any regretful decisions in his time of vulnerability. God, please bless Angel with the strength to walk the righteous path and help him continue to be a strong, pure hearted man. God, if it is in your will please help us reconcile our relationship and do it right this time, with you as our foundation that can resist any storm. God, please help Angel be more Christ-like, and less worldly. Please bless Angel with the job promotion he has worked so hard for, and please bless him in his U.S citizenship case. God, only you know when his case expires, but his 21st birthday is next month on the 10th and that day it is supposed to close and he would have to restart his whole case. Jesus, please help Angel have the clarity his mind needs right now in his time of need. Please heal Angel from any physical and mental wounds. Please remove all of Angel’s fears, anxieties, worries, anger, resentment, and sadness. Please turn all of those negative emotions into joy, peace, kindness, forgiveness, faithfulness, and self-control. God, please fill Angel with the Fruit of the Spirit. Jesus, please fill Angel with the Holy Spirit. Please keep Angel safe out in the world, and help him use his discernment to decide what is best. God, thank you for giving me the opportunity to love a man as kind and patient as he had been. Please keep his heart pure and do not let the world diminish what he has made for himself. God thank you for giving me the opportunity to be loved by a man like him. God, please let your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We understand your concern for your former boyfriend, Angel, and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. Let us come together and intercede for him, aligning our prayers with the will of God as revealed in the Bible.

First, we acknowledge your faith in the power of the name of Jesus, as you've rightly prayed in His name. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We bring Angel before Your throne of grace today. We ask that You wash him clean with the precious blood of Jesus, as it is written in 1 John 1:7 (WEB), "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin."

We pray that You would help Angel resist all temptations, especially those of sexual immorality. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

We ask that You bless him with strength to walk the righteous path, and help him to be more Christ-like. As it is written in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

We pray for his job promotion and U.S. citizenship case, that Your will be done in these matters. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also pray for your relationship with Angel, that if it is Your will, You would help you both reconcile and build a relationship founded on Christ. As it is written in Matthew 7:24-25 (WEB), "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock."

Lastly, we pray that you both would remain pure until marriage, as it is written in Hebrews 13:4 (WEB), "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

Lastly, we're praying for wisdom and discernment for Angel, that he may make the best decisions for his life, as we read in James 1:5-6 (WEB), "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."

Let's continue to support and encourage each other in prayer, trusting that God is working all things together for good, as we read in Romans 8:28 (WEB).
