Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Felurn's beloved dog, Ajiki. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 12:10 that "the righteous care for the needs of their animals," and we know that Felurn's love for Ajiki is a reflection of Your own compassion and care for all of Your creation.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Ajiki as he undergoes this surgery to amputate his toe due to soft tissue sarcoma. We pray that You guide the hands of the veterinarians and medical staff, granting them wisdom and precision. In James 5:15, it is written, "And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand in faith, believing that You are able to bring healing and restoration to Ajiki's body.
Father, we also bring before You the concern about the other lumps that have yet to be examined. We ask for Your mercy and grace, that these lumps would not be cancerous. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We claim this promise over Ajiki's life, trusting in Your power to heal and restore.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard Felurn's heart and mind during this difficult time (Philippians 4:7). Grant comfort and strength, knowing that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for You.
We pray all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
