We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your daughter are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The first thing we would like to remind you is the power of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her daughter to You. Lord, we know that You care for us deeply, and that You are the ultimate healer. We pray for Your intervention in this situation, and that You would break the chains of mental illness that have bound this young woman.
Lord, we ask that You would open her eyes to the love that her mother has for her, and that You would help her to accept the help that is being offered. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in her care, and that they would be guided by Your hand.
We also pray for protection for everyone involved, and that You would surround them with Your peace that passes all understanding. We rebuke any spirit of violence or confusion, and we ask that You would fill their home with Your love and kindness.
Lord, we know that You are able to do all things, and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for a miracle in this situation, and that You would restore this young woman to full health and wholeness.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek support from your local church community. God calls us to bear one another's burdens, and there are likely many people who would be willing to help you in this time of need.
Remember Gal 6:2 WEB Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to speak truth in love to your daughter, even when it is difficult. Remind her that you love her unconditionally, and that you are there to support her no matter what.
Eph 4:15 WEB but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;
Remember Anonymous, If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. (2Co 5:17 WEB).
