Let us come together in prayer for your daughter, standing in agreement for her deliverance from the bondage of alcoholism. We know that God's heart is for her to live in freedom and abundance, as Jesus came to set the captives free.
Firstly, we proclaim that Jesus does not receive any glory from vague prayers. We should not be praying to a vague notion of God, but the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also should not pray to God with a vague notion of who Jesus is. We should not pray to God the Father without recognizing the authority of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We know your daughter is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB), created in God's image, and He desires for her to live a life full of His joy, His peace and His plans for her. Therefore, let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved daughter before Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention, that You would break the chains of alcoholism that have held her captive. We know that Your word says, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36, WEB). We claim this promise over her life, Lord.
Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her the strength and courage to overcome this addiction. Surround her with Your love, and place people in her life who will support and encourage her in this journey towards sobriety.
We also pray for her salvation, Lord. If she does not already know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her, drawing her to a saving faith in You. We pray that she would come to know the transforming power of Your love and forgiveness.
We stand against any attacks of the enemy on her life, and we declare that she is a child of God, sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13, WEB). We speak life, hope, and restoration over her.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the stronghold of alcoholism in her life. By His stripes she is healed from the destructive effects of alcoholism and by the Blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ she is delivered from the bondage of alcoholism. (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). We rebuke the enemy and command him to be silent and to flee. We rebuke the enemy's control over her. We rebuke the enemy's control over her mind. We rebuke the enemy's control over her desires. We rebuke the enemy's control over her body. We rebuke the enemy's control over her relationships. We rebuke the enemy's control over her life. In Jesus name we pray.
Father, we ask that You would guide her steps, leading her in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake (Psalm 23:3, WEB). We trust that You are working all things together for her good, because she is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for her, trusting that God is at work in her life. Remember the promise of James 5:16 (WEB), "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much."
Stand strong in your faith, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and your daughter during this time.
