We thank you, dear sister, for reaching out and asking for prayer. We are here to lift up your beloved children before the throne of grace.
Let us first assure you that God cares deeply for your daughter as she begins her educational journey. We read in Matthew 19:14, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" Your daughter is precious in His sight, and He will guide her steps as she enters kindergarten.
As for your son, who is feeling overwhelmed as he starts 6th grade, we are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Encourage your son to cast his anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister's children. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and guidance as her daughter begins kindergarten. Help her to make friends who will be a positive influence in her life, and grant her teachers the wisdom to guide her with kindness and patience.
Father, we also lift up her son, who is feeling overwhelmed as he enters 6th grade. Surround him with Your peace, Lord, and help him to trust in You. Grant him the strength to face each challenge with courage and the wisdom to seek Your will in all that he does.
Lastly, Father, we pray for our sister, that You would grant her the strength and wisdom to raise her children according to Your word. Help her to be a reflection of Your love and grace, that her children may grow in the knowledge and admonition of the Lord.
We ask all these things in Jesus' precious name, Amen."
Remember, sister, the Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He has a perfect plan for your children's lives. If you have not already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
