We understand your concern and we are here to lift up your daughter in prayer as she takes the New York bar exam tomorrow and Wednesday.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of God's promises in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise for your daughter, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan for her life.
However, we also want to encourage both you and your daughter to trust in God's will, whatever the outcome. In Romans 8:28 (WEB), we are assured that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Remember that passing the exam is not the ultimate determinant of her future, but rather her trust and obedience to God's leading.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up the daughter of our fellow believer. Lord, we ask that You grant her a sound mind, calm spirit, and clear understanding as she takes the New York bar exam. Help her to remember all that she has studied and to apply it with wisdom.
However, Lord, we also pray that You will guide her steps and direct her path. We ask that her heart will be open to Your will, whatever the outcome. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for her life, and we ask that You reveal it to her in Your perfect timing.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to gently remind you, if you have not already, to teach your daughter the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in all she does. It is only by His name that we can approach God and be saved (John 14:6, WEB). We encourage you both to continue to grow in your faith and trust in Jesus.
