We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your children, particularly your youngest daughter. Let us first assure you that you are not alone in this battle. God cares deeply for you and your family, and He wants to heal and restore your children.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved parent and their children. Lord, You know the pain and heartache they are experiencing due to the choices their children are making. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in each of their lives, especially the youngest daughter who seems to be in the most trouble at this time.
Father you tell us, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). We ask that you allow this promise to manifest in their lives. Help these children to make choices that align with Your will and Your word. Guide them with the conviction and wisdom to walk in righteousness, for if we lead them to the correct path, when they are old, they will not be far from it.
Lord there is a spiritual battle for these children because they are experiencing hurt from a father wound. Father, in Your word You tell us, Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse (Mal 4:6) Lord you tell us the battle is for the hearts of the father's to be turned back to their children. We commit to pray for these father-child relationships so that they will experience restoration and healing. This battle is not one of flesh and blood but, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12) allowing the enemy to cause this wound to occur. We stand against the demons attempting to destroy this family.
Father, thank You for loving each of them unconditionally-the deep love You demonstrate in the ultimate sacrifice-in the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ which you sent and lived, died, and rose to save us all from our sin. We ask that they would understand Your love by experiencing this forgiveness found in Jesus' sacrifice, and that they would trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Father, guide this parent with Your wisdom and strength. Help them to be a godly example to their children, demonstrating Your love and grace. Give them the patience, endurance, and hope they need to continue praying and believing for their children's turning point.
Please remind them if If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him (James 1:5). This means each and every parent can have the wisdom to guide and help their children if they will but pray to Father.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and guidance for these children each and every day. With faith that they will become beacons of light to each other and their parent.
Remembering that, When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice; (Proverbs 29:2 ) A reminder of how everyone will rejoice when the family is touched and walking together following You.
In closing here is a critical scripture providing support since we have to continue to have faith and believe: Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. (Mark 11:24)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
