We understand your concern for your daughter and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We can trust that God is sovereign over your daughter's situation, including her health and new job.
However, we want to gently remind you that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus, as Jesus teaches us in John 16:23, "In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." It is in Jesus' name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister's daughter to You. Lord, You know the struggles she has faced to secure this job, and we ask that You be with her now. We pray that her COVID test report will be clear, allowing her to travel and take up her new position. Please protect her from any obstacles or harm, and let Your favor shine upon her. Lord, we also pray for her mother, that You would comfort her and replace worry with trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting God with your daughter's future. Remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust that God has a good plan for her life.
We also exhort you to pray according to God's will. If God has given your daughter this job, trust that He will equip her and make a way for her. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
