We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your daughter and her boyfriend are facing with their daughter. We will lift them up in prayer and seek God's intervention in their situation. Let us first align our hearts with God's Word, which tells us, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You know the struggle they are facing with their daughter, and the injustice they are experiencing. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Open the eyes of the authorities to see the truth, and guide them to act in accordance with Your will.
Lord, we also pray for healing for their daughter. You are the Great Physician, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. Touch her little body and bring complete healing.
Father, we also want to lift up the relationship between your daughter and her boyfriend. We pray that their bond would be strengthened through this trial, and that they would seek Your will together. We pray that their relationship would be one that honors You, Lord, and that they would look to You for guidance in all things.
Lastly, Father, we pray that this family would fix their eyes on You during this time. Comfort them with Your love, and fill them with Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage them with these words from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in this situation, even if it is difficult to see right now.
Lastly, we want to gently remind them of the importance of seeking God's will in their relationship. As they navigate this trial together, we encourage them to pray together, seek God's guidance, and ensure that their relationship is aligned with biblical principles. If they are not already doing so, we encourage them to seek Godly counsel and consider the path of marriage, as it is a sacred union designed by God.
