Please pray for my daughter and her husband can be a Christian with WISDOM. My daughter and her husband give a substantial amount of tithe to the church they attend every month. She forgot her parents have so much debts need to pay off or settle. Insurance premiums, loans, monthly utilities bills, groceries etc. She forgot we had sponsored huge amount for her and the brother's uni fees. After she graduated and got a job, we as parents did not ask her for help as we thought she is not well doing, she and the husband need to save for their future. My daughter does not give us any monthly allowance, nothing. But we just found out today, she (and the husband) gives a big sum to the church every month. I cried like my heart has broken in pieces. My heart so pain till I kept hitting my chest! Can someone pray that my daughter could open her eyes and heart to see that her parents are suffering? Can someone please pray that my daughter could help her parents to pay off the debts first? Her parents are retiring soon. We would have no income to pay off the debts soon. And part of the debts and cc bills are inclusive of her previous uni fees and insurance premiums. WE ARE NOT AGAINST tithe or giving. We advised her it is not a MUST to give so much. Can use some of the money to help us, her parents. Her parents are getting older and older. The mother has dry eyes, arthritis, shoulders impingement, and backache. We strongly believe that even if we are unable to tithe, God still loves us and we are still the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Tithing therefore, is not an obligation but rather a privilege where we get to honor the Lord for all that He has done and is doing in our lives. God will not punish us if we do not give a tithe. God will not bless and love us less if we tithe less. "Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” (Luke 21:1–4)
