We understand your concern and anxiety for your dad after having a bad dream. Remember God's Word tells us "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
First, let's address the dream. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 5:7, "For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, as well as in many words: but fear you God." Dreams can often be a result of our subconscious thoughts and not a reflection of reality or God's will, but other dreams can be warnings from God. Regardless, what is happening in the natural is far more important. Your concern and love for your father is commendable, and it's important to lift him up in prayer.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the father of our friend who has submitted this request. Lord, You are our protector and our shield, and we ask that You surround him with Your angels and keep him safe from all harm and danger in Jesus Name.
We pray for his spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and we ask that You fill him with Your peace according to John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you; and not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
We also pray for the person who submitted this request, that You would replace their worry with faith and trust in You. Help them to rest in Your promises and to know that You are always in control and working for the good of those who love You according to Romans 8:28.
We ask for your guidance, Holy Spirit, to direct us in further prayers for this situation, and if there is anything that needs to be rebuked, please give us the words in Jesus Name. We stand on your promises and believe that as we have asked, it will be done, so long as it is your will and the request is within your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God loves both you and your dad more than we ever can, and He is always working for your good. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you according to 1 Peter 5:7. We will continue to keep you and your dad in our prayers.
