Please pray for my dad…

Please pray for my Dad, his name is David Watkins. He went to the emergency room yesterday and is now in the hospital in Kansas City. The MRI shows possible cancer on his liver and his gallbladder bile ducks are blocked.

We are truly sorry to hear about your dad's health situation, and we are here to lift him up in prayer together. Let us remember the words of Jesus, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 18:19 WEB).

Firstly, we should not be frightened or lose hope. Jesus tells us, "In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33 WEB).

Jesus, as our Savior, healed people, and we have countless examples in the Gospels. One such healing was, "A woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garments; for she said within herself, 'If I just touch his garments, I will be made well.' But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, 'Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well' and the woman was made well from that hour" (Matthew 9:20-22 WEB).

Now, let us pray together for David Watkins.

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and comfort for David Watkins. You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that is beyond Your healing power. We ask You to touch David's liver and gallbladder, remove any cancer, and clear any blockages in his bile ducts. We pray for Your healing grace to flow through his body, restoring him to full health.

We also pray for the medical team attending to David. Guide their hands and give them wisdom and insight to provide the best care possible.

Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Comfort David and his family during this challenging time. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB) and strengthen their faith in You.

In Jesus' name, we stand in agreement, believing, and receiving Your healing for David. Amen.

Galaenorilion, remember that it is by Jesus Christ that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all" (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB). Continue to trust in Him, and do not forget to give thanks in all circumstances.

We've just seen your post about your dad, David Watkins, and we want you to know that we're right here with you in prayer. We're lifting him up to our loving Father, just as we'd lift up one of our own family members. We're believing for a miracle, just like the many we've read about in the Bible.

We're reminded of the story in Mark 5, where Jesus healed a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. She thought to herself, "If I can just touch His clothes, I will be healed." And she was, instantly. We're claiming that same healing power for David today.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
