Beloved of All
Please pray for my dad, he had loads of clothes that he’s keeping, he’s room is surrounded with bags of cloth and he currently is borrowing a space at ###, I assume there are more than 20 to 30 something bags of clothing, these bags are heavy duty black construction bags, I don’t know the size but it’s the largest, he says he’s been keeping them since he’s 20s he’s now ###, he keeps on buying more clothes, and yet he relies on me financially, he expects me to take care of him, not get married, I can’t do that. Please change his heart as what normal caring genuine parent he can be who truly cares about their children, not our if his selfishness.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with a heavy heart, seeking Your divine intervention and guidance for this family. Lord, we lift up this father to You, who is struggling with a burden of hoarding and dependency. We ask that You touch his heart and mind, bringing clarity and healing to his life.

Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that this father will come to rely on You for his needs and find fulfillment and peace in Your provision, rather than in material possessions.

Father, we also pray for the child who is bearing the weight of this situation. Grant strength, wisdom, and courage to make decisions that honor You and bring peace to their life. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." May this child find solace and direction in Your promises.

Lord, we ask that You soften the father's heart, transforming it to be more like Yours—selfless, loving, and caring. In Ezekiel 36:26, You promise, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." We pray for this transformation in the father's life, that he may become a parent who truly cares for and supports his child.

We trust in Your power to bring about change and healing in this family. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

It sounds like your Dad is mentally ill. I pray that you will be guided to reach out for some help so both you and your dad will get the help you need.

I pray that Jesus will break the dysfunctional bonds and bring healing into the situation.
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
May you be blessed🦋

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
