Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for ###'s cousin, a single mother to two precious boys, who has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Lord, we lift her up to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her body. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal. As it is written in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved: for you are my praise." We pray that You would guide the doctors and medical staff with wisdom and compassion as they care for her.
Father, we also bring ###'s career concerns before You. We understand the pain of being passed over and feeling discouraged. We ask that You open a door for ### in the career path that You have planned. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Help ### to trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You have a perfect plan.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to cover ### and the cousin's family during this challenging time. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
